How Does it Work?

We Don’t Just Guess a Price

Each offer is based on real-time market data, vehicle condition, and how much similar cars are actually selling for, not just listed at.

Our process looks at:

  • Make, model, and variant (not just base specs)
  • Service history, kms, and condition
  • Modifications, accessories, or standout features
  • Demand from dealers and buyers in your area

The more info you give us, the sharper and more accurate your offer will be.

And once you accept, we lock it in — no surprise drops or last-minute haggling.

About Us

Sell Any Car Fast was born out of necessity, a way to give everyday car sellers in QLD a fairer, faster alternative in a market that had become flooded with empty promises.

After more than a 15 years working at the original car buying service and dealer only auction since 1977. We saw first hand what worked, what didn’t, and what people actually wanted.

So we built this business with that in mind: no gimmicks, no pressure, just honest prices and a process that respects your time. We’re not here to lowball anyone. We use real market data, offer fair deals, and pay fast. Simple as that.

FAQ

Got questions?

Here are the ones we get asked most.

Still unsure? Call 1300 881 225

How do I get paid?

Same-day bank transfer. Once we've inspected the vehicle and you've accepted the offer, payment hits your account the same day. No waiting, no cheques, no runaround.

Do I need a roadworthy certificate?

No. As licensed motor dealers, we handle safety certificates and registration transfers ourselves, so you don't need to spend a cent on a roadworthy inspection. Selling privately instead? Here are the three legal ways to sell a car without a roadworthy in QLD.

What cars do you buy?

Any make, any model, any age, any condition. Damaged, high kilometres, unregistered, older vehicles, we buy them all. If it has four wheels, we're interested.

Is there any cost to get an offer?

Absolutely not. Getting a valuation is 100% free with zero obligation. If the offer doesn't suit you, no worries at all, walk away with no pressure.

How long does the process take?

Most sales are completed within 24 hours. Submit your details, get an offer, and if you accept we'll arrange inspection and payment at a time that works for you.

What documents do I need?

Just your photo ID (driver's licence) and your vehicle registration papers. We handle everything else, including the transfer of registration and any other paperwork. If you're selling privately instead, here's the full paperwork checklist for a private car sale in QLD.

Can I sell a car that still has finance owing?

Yes. We deal with cars under finance all the time. We'll confirm the payout figure with your lender, settle it directly, and pay you the balance. You don't have to clear the loan first. More on selling a car with finance still owing.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?

We come to you. We inspect and collect across Brisbane and South East Queensland at a time that suits you, whether that's home or work. No need to drive anywhere or sit in a dealership.

How do you work out my offer?

We base it on your car's make, model, year, kilometres and condition, alongside live wholesale and auction data. That's why our offers reflect what your car is genuinely worth today, not a lowball guess. You can also check what your car is worth before you talk to us.

Will you buy a car that isn't running or has been in an accident?

Yes. Non-runners, mechanical faults, accident damage, hail damage, we still want to hear about it. Even if it's been written off and listed on the WOVR, that's not a dead end. Tell us the condition upfront and we'll factor it into a fair offer.

Do I have to be the registered owner?

You need to be the registered owner or have written authority to sell on the owner's behalf. We'll let you know exactly what we need so the registration transfer goes through cleanly.

Are you actually licensed?

Yes. We're a licensed Queensland motor dealer (DLN 4871214), so every sale is handled properly and your registration liability ends the moment we take the car. You're dealing with a registered business, not a stranger off a classifieds site.
